This is the newest wheel from Earthwing and much hyped about, it is designed to be a soft slide wheel (as compared to the hard tech slide wheels that EW are known for).

animal chin: "There may be a lot of questions about these wheels, so I started my first thread since the Earthwing Skate army. We have tested this urethane extensively, and without going into detail - this is not the same urethane compound found in ANY longboard wheels that are available. It's the same compound that "slide-a's" are, but softer. And they are amazing. long story short, I think these are what you have been looking for. But the purpose of this thread is to get honest feedback on how to improve these if possible, and just build a database of useful info directly from the skaters in the streets, for skaters about to hit the streets. They have a very smooth, but faster wear, but that is a result of the AMAZING performance. We could make wheels that last forever, but they don't seem to perform. I am not convinced that they wear any faster than others, but I am not doing 40 foot standers in Vancouver either.
